Hey cybernauts, this Vern Tejas of the Alpine Ascents International Mount Everest Expedition 2002.

Today, very early today I should say, in the morning, 3 o'clock, we got up, got ready to go and headed up the mountain. We actually made it up through the Icefall in reasonable time. We took many moments to take breaks, and drink, and stay acclimatized and stay on top of the show, eventually getting to the top of the Icefall and establishing our Camp I.

We're now burrowed in after having a wonderful meal that some of the boys cooked up for us, that would be Jose and Luis, and Mike. And we're bedding down now and we're going to call it a day. This is not going to be quite as eloquent as in the past due to the fact that we're pretty hammered and just basically want to say goodnight to the world.

Ciao.
