Hey Mountain Zone and cybercast enthusiasts, this is Eric Remza of Alpine Ascents and The Upward Dogs.

As my last update yesterday dictated we were going to go for the summit today. We did make an attempt. We got up to Denali Pass and it was just way too windy for our taste and big lenticular cloud forming over the crown of the summit. So we decided to come back and we just kind of chalked that one up as an acclimatization day.

"We will be making a second attempt tomorrow morning. It does sound like this high pressure is supposed to stick around. There is still probably going to some winds..."

Everyone is still doing really well. We will be making a second attempt tomorrow morning. It does sound like this high pressure is supposed to stick around. There is still probably going to some winds, but we're going to kind of take a little bit more of a leisurely start tomorrow morning. And it seems the winds tend to be dying down early afternoon and with all the sunlight it really allows us to have a good chance at the summit.

So that's about it, we'll give you a call from the summit. If not, we'll keep you updates as to what's going on. Bye.
